Julian Clementson
Julian studied piano and oboe to ABRSM Grade 8. He was a member of Cambridgeshire County Youth Orchestra and has been in several choirs and choral societies over the years. He has worked as an accompanist for concerts, music exams, and musical theatre groups.In recent years Julian has taken turns as musical director for TAOS Musical Theatre in Trowbridge, for shows including ‘Made in Dagenham’, ‘Oklahoma!’, and ‘The Gondoliers’, for which he made a reduced orchestration for six players. He occasionally plays keyboards with other groups, including covering more modern styles with The Fulltone Orchestra in Devizes. When time allows, Julian sings with Trowbridge-based Viva Meridia or Devizes-based The Invitation Theatre Company. He is delighted to be working with Michael and The Philomel Singers and enjoying another style of choral music.
Julian lives in Westbury Leigh and has a day job as a software developer.
